TourStart GPS for your cell phone
Author Last Post

Tried, without success to use this on trip to Montana. TourStart seemed to work properly. However Apple iPhone 12 Max did not like heat, nor did it work well at altitude.

But, TourStart does seem to work well with Garmin Zuma 665 in planning out routes on a computer and then transferring to the garmin. Seems to work much better than BaseCamp.

Found this on BMW website -https:/tourstart.org

You can plan rides on your computer and easily transfer to your cell phone or share with others.

Works as well or better than a Garmin GPS. :-)

Very easy to plan a route.

Price for a year subscription is $19.

I have been using this for a few months now.

Started on a standard size iPhone, went to a iPhone 12 pro Max and it works even better.

For those who are tired of fighting Garmin and do not want to carry a phone and a Garmin, this seems to be a good solution.

I have used this in central valley and have yet to loose reception.

See attached for samples of Central Valley loops
